"Your bound to find all sorts of. creative. SOLUTIONS" - The Cheater peddling his cheats to Emily.

"TELL ME, OR I'LL... UNPLUG YOUR SURGE PROTECTOR!!!" - The Cheater blowing up at L.U.C.I

The Cheater (Peter Vann) is a villain and Evil Doers Club member from Bibleman Powersource who lends cheats and shortcuts to various children to "help" them. He is also known for creating highly popular E.D.C. products such as Sneak Bombs and the now defunct HELPINGHOTLINE.com

Appearance[]

The Cheater is a slender shifty looking figure often donning a black fedora with a thick checkered band, a matching checkered bow-tie, a silver vest, shades, dark grey sweatshorts, black sneakers, and a black leotard with math answers written all over it, on top of that he has his trusty "Belittler" fastened on his belt.

Personality[]

Cheater has a very eccentric and exaggerated disposition, often laughing maniacally or showing pure joy at the mere thought of cheating. When things don't go his way he often becomes either downtrodden or furious. He loves cheating and shortcuts and tries to incorporate them into everything he does.

History[]

2006[]

The Cheater was first introduced in a flashback sequence in Terminating the Toxic Tonic of Disrespect (2006) where he planned to give a variety of "Test answers and completed homework assignments to kids everywhere." While Bibleman and Cypher avoided a type of land mine called a "Sneak Bomb". However, The Cheaters plan failed as instead of directly delivering the answers to children as one would expect, he bizarrely throws them up in the air for no reason, making him perfectly open for a holy counter smite where Bibleman covered him with his own test answers and banished him to what looked like outer space (possibly a portal to hell.)

2007[]

How is Cypher that stupid?

The Cheater would later return from the depths of hell in his starring role of the main antagonist of Crushing the Conspiracy of the Cheater where he found a chance to not only give out test answers, but also get kids to cheat on the Bible Bowl by creating The HELPINGHOTLINE.com, a way for kids to find test answers without having to work for them, he promoted this website with green electric cards that had both the number and website on them. The Cheater went on to confront Bibleman in a Jump-It-Up of which Bibleman gets the upper hand, and The Cheater promptly retreats with his Belittler. After lumbering in back to his lair he begins to brain storm with his computer L.U.C.I. until the link finds a way to access the list U.N.I.C.E. has of all BibleBowl answers and post them on the Helping Hotline. The Cheater then physically goes to the BibleBowl to trick Biblegirl into believing that Bibleman was in danger, when Biblegirl takes the quickest possible route The Cheater uses this as an opportunity to point out the hypocrisy of Biblegirl before swiftly entrapping her with a sticky electric wrapping known as a "Cheat Sheet." He almost captures Cypher too but Bibleman was there to save his life. After a failed attempt to help more kids with cheating by helping a young kid named Jake slip answers to his friend he uses his only option left, rolling, which promptly spooks everyone in the BibleBowl and causes them to abandon it. With Cypher and Biblegirl now freed and team up with Melody to stop The Cheater, and they reveal to him that U.N.I.C.E deleted his website, devastating The Cheater. But he quickly teleported up to the BibleBowl Balcony and starts disabling the Styrofoam pillars surrounding the Bowl with his cards, trapping most of the Bible Adventure Team down there, opening him up for a grand escape. However Bibleman appears apparently having walked up the balcony where he prepares to attack with his lightsaber, luckily The Cheater happens to be a swordsman as well with his own red lightsaber, as the fight goes on, The Cheater pleads for a draw while willing to let Bibleman be the winner in name; Bibleman rejects the offer and attempts a killing blow but, unlike how he expected, The Cheater's life is saved by the belittler attached to his belt buckle, causing him to shrink to safety. While he is safe from Bibleman a new problem arises as his belittler has no energy left in it and as he soon realizes, teeny tiny little batteries are almost impossible to find. As he curses Bibleman, he is approached by a menacing bee. We leave the episode on a cliffhanger of The Cheater startled and afraid of what the bee might do to him.

2008[]

He appears in In the Presence of Enemies he is now unbelittled and more eager for evil than ever (The unbelittling as well as the escape form the bee are never brought up.) Where he and the rest of the Evil Doers Club plan to create their own version of the Bible for the Bible Adventure Team to read and slip up. He also reigned victorious in the Food Fight"with the rest of the club as he was the very last person to get dirty. During his Bible switching trip he unfortunately left his belittler for Bibleman to later use, which he did, to track them down. In the next fight sequence between the Bible Adventure Team and the Evil Doers Club he seems to keep this winning streak, as his job is to take on both Bibleman and Cypher, he lands a hit with his cards so hard on Bibleman that is so hard it causes his sword to temporarily deactivate. Alas once the Team found out about the bible switching they gained a significant powerboost. They then combined all their powers to create a holy energy barrier that caused the entire cub to disappear, The Cheater was last seen reappeared but belittled and in a cage with three other club members, but in that cage he had his belittler, which he likely got through his cheating powers; he likely escaped as in the next episode, Baron Von Braggart is talking to 2kul 4skul.

He appears in a few shots of the opening of Commanding the Combatant of Confusion in flashback scenes taken from previous episodes.

Lair[]

The Cheater, like most Bibleman villains, has an evil lair which he operates under with L.U.C.I. Given the fact that it has elevated metal ladders and stairs, It is likely a stage theater which he uses as a front for his Evil Doing.

Tools[]

  • Sneak Bombs: The Cheater invented these original explosives as a way to blow up Bibleman and Cypher when they sneak up on them.
  • Throwing Cards: His primary weapon are green, sharp, electric cards which double as his business card.
  • Belittler: His most iconic device, Cheater can shrink himself and anything touching him at the turn of a dial. This invention has a significant downside in that if the batteries run out and you are shrunk, then you will have to replenish with rare teeny tiny batteries.[1]
  • Lightsaber: Like most villains, The Cheater is a swordsman. He has a thin solid red lightsaber resembling that of Luxor Spawndroth's original saber but it has electricity leaking outside the sword possibly because The Cheater took various shortcuts in designing it.

Abilities[]

Life Hacks: The Cheater uses advanced cheating techniques that break the laws of physics.

  • Teleportation: Used during the battle of Jump-It-Up.[1]
  • Object Manipulation: The Cheater was able to teleport and shrink the Belittler while in a small cage.

Strategy[]

The Cheater seems to rely heavily on planned traps and long ranged weapons (His throwing cards) as he is not too physically strong, (as seen by his sword duel), he has also been known to use his own surrounding to his advantage such as in the Jump-It-Up fight where he uses One of these club things that are found in bouncy houses as a weapon. Of course if all else happens to fail he will be forced to draw his sword.

Trivia[]

The Cheater in style and appearance is strikingly similar to and likely based off of The Riddler from Batman.

He is tied with Super Pro Gamemaster as the most prominent Powersource villain and third most prominent overall appearing in 2 full episodes and 1 opening fight.

The Cheater is one of 8 Bibleman characters who have an action figure based on them.

Right before the grand fight in "In the Presence of Enemies" a metallic object can be heard falling and The Cheater is the only one who reacts to this noise.
